After retiring from a company where I was employed for over 26 years, I believed that I had gained enough knowledge to write the book, Imperfect People Managing In An Imperfect World. Primarily, I realized that I had been so busy bestowing accolades on others, I forgot that I had a lot to be proud of as well. After all, I had taken over organizations that were failing or were being considered for outsourcing and turned them around. When I say turned them around, I am talking about financially and strategically positioning them for success. This didn’t just happen because I am so great but I do have exceptional organizational and people skills. But mostly, I was not afraid to say, look group, if things don’t change, we’re gone; I need your help in turning things around and we did it! But the book doesn’t concentrate on that as much as it offers management tips based on my own experience while telling my story and the things I encountered on my way to success.
